Three like minded individuals from completely different parts of the world crossed paths in Dublin, Ireland of all places! One night over a packet of cigarettes and a bottle of wine, the conversation tilted towards the disgraceful places we'd all stayed in over the years, and ultimately that we could provide a better service for Hostelling folk. 4 months later we decided to put our theory to the test and the idea for Gecko was born. After much deliberation with different names we settled on Gecko, we found it was appropriate because as with travelers, the gecko is a rock hopper also.There is abundance of things to do near and around Gecko, such as:The Zoo,The Chinese Gardens,Plaza Italia,The Planetarium ,Parque Libertador,Plaza Serrano,Las Canitas,Recoletta Cemetery,River Plate Stadium,and many more exciting excursion to be seen!And finally, We all wish you the very best on your travels.
